Patrick and his team are responsible for the marketing and strategy of driving Xeon and Itanium platforms into the high-end of the server market. The team focuses on the partner strategy and go-to-market programs to bring the value of Intel Architecture Cloud Computing market segment. Before Patrick ran the team, he was Chief of Staff for Intel's Data Center Group serving under group GM and gaining broad global experience of Intel’s data center product strategy and partner relationships at the highest levels. Patrick’s history in the server group dates back to 1995 and includes management responsibilities of the Pentium Pro processor, the Intel Xeon product line and Intel’s blade product line.

Mr. Boetticher leads a team of architects who work with Service Providers to design Managed Cloud offerings. Mr. Boetticher has over 20 years of networking and telecommunications experience. During his career, he has held various engineering and operational roles at networking equipment manufacturers. He joined Cisco in 1997 and has worked in several technical and leadership roles supporting Cisco’s Service Provider, Enterprise, Public Sector, and Commercial markets. 	Speaker Profile	KH Li is Cloud Solution Architect of Intel Enterprise Solution Sales in APAC. In this role KH is responsible for technical collaboration with telco and commercial enterprise in the areas of cloud computing and data centers on infrastructure, equipment, and solution layers. Prior to this role KH was Technical Account Manager for Intel’s 4G technology, leading Intel’s 4G technical engagements with telco carriers and governments in Asia Pacific. KH has over one decade of professional experience in the telco and IT industry. Prior to joining Intel, KH worked for various companies in USA and Taiwan on the areas of network system design, cellular network deployment, handheld design, and BWA silicon design. He holds a PhD in EE from Georgia Tech, USA.

	Speaker Profile	As Vice-President of Engineering at Cloudscaling, Andrew Clay Shafer lead efforts to implement cloud solutions for service providers, including Korea Telecom. Andrew co-founded Puppet Labs, the company behind Puppet, the open source leader in data center automation, also providing seminal leadership for the devops movement. At Parvus Captus Mr. Shafer works to help organizations build better systems with better tools. He brings a background in high performance computing, computational science, embedded Linux, large scale web applications, configuration management and Agile methods.
	Presentation Summary	Just over a year old, OpenStack has grown to become one of the largest and most active open source projects ever. Since Rackspace and Nasa launched OpenStack in June 2010, the community has grown to include KT, NTT, AT&T, HP, Dell, Citrix and over one hundred other companies. This ecosystem supports a single goal to build an open cloud computing framework. This presentation will introduce OpenStack, what OpenStack can do, what OpenStack can't do, where the project is today, and where OpenStack is going.
